Workers from Mogoda Serveis and the Municipal Brigades, with external support, have this week cleaned mud accumulated in the streets of La Creueta and its industrial estate in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, affected by October's rains.

The objective of this action has been to restore normality to the area, one of the most affected by the intense rains recorded during October. The cleaning has been reinforced with high-pressure water to remove accumulated dirt.
The operation was carried out once the episode of intense rainfall, which required activating the Inuncat Plan on several occasions, concluded. According to data from the meteorological station of the Santa Perpètua City Council, the city has collected 238.2 liters per square meter this month, with Sunday, October 4th, being the rainiest day (114 liters). Last year, the total accumulation for October was 40 liters.
The La Creueta area, particularly the street of the same name, habitually suffers incidents due to mud accumulation from cultivated fields and the highway embankment during intense rainfall, causing mobility problems. The City Council is working to address the causes of soil erosion.
