The Rubí-based company Morillo Energy Rent has participated in a humanitarian convoy organized by the Barcelona City Council, sending electrical generators to Kyiv, Ukraine, to ensure supply in critical areas.

This initiative, which departed on March 27 from the Port of Barcelona, aimed to reinforce the electrical infrastructure of the Ukrainian capital, one of the regions most affected by service interruptions. The convoy, coordinated by the City Council's Directorate of International Cooperation with the support of Barcelona Firefighters and the Port of Barcelona, also transported fire trucks and equipment for people with reduced mobility.
The contribution of Morillo Energy Rent, headquartered in Rubí, has been crucial for ensuring the operation of hospitals and other essential services in a crisis context. Representatives of the involved entities have highlighted the importance of collaboration between public administrations and private companies to effectively respond to international humanitarian emergencies.

"In emergency contexts, guaranteeing access to energy means guaranteeing safety, health, and dignity. For us, being able to contribute our equipment to an operation like this is part of our commitment to society."
