The MMUC Councillor, Jordi Arnaiz, announced in February that 16,000 people visited Rubí's exhibition spaces during 2025, a figure representing 20% of the local population.

The 16,000 visits registered in Rubí's exhibition spaces during 2025 are broken down into 3,969 at the MMUC, 3,417 at the Antiga Estació, and 12,957 at the Aula Cultural, mainly due to the Christmas Dioramas. These figures have been described as "very positive" by the City Council, which hopes to exceed them with the new 2026 program.

"This data shows that the public is eager to see things, eager for culture, and this is what we try to reinforce."

Jordi Arnaiz · MMUC Councillor
The MMUC maintains its specialization in informative exhibitions, with an emphasis on democratic memory and the visibility of women. For example, the exhibition Dones: ficcions i realitats (Women: Fictions and Realities), produced by the Museum of History of Catalonia, will arrive in the autumn.

"We host exhibitions that come from other institutions, and thanks to these collaborations, we can bring them to Rubí, to a public museum with free admission."

Joan Gallisà · MMUC Director
The Aula Cultural will continue combining local artists with established creators, such as the exhibition Shou-Sugi-Ban + by Rafa Gascón. Meanwhile, the Antiga Estació will focus its programming on proposals from local entities and emerging artists from Rubí, including shows by Bárbara Pozo and Rosa Orero.
One of the central events of 2026 will be the double tribute to local artist Toni Grau, taking place simultaneously at the Aula Cultural and the Antiga Estació between May and July. This tribute will include a collective exhibition called 23 gats (23 Cats), where various artists will reinterpret Grau's favorite theme.
