CE Sabadell drew 0-0 against AD Alcorcón at the Nova Creu Alta stadium on Saturday, breaking a six-game winning streak despite overwhelming dominance of the match.

The 'Arlequinat' side, led by Ferran Costa, could not convert the numerous chances they created to win the match, encountering a hyper-defensive approach from the visitors. This goalless draw ends the brilliant run of six consecutive victories maintained by Sabadell.
Despite the lack of accuracy, the hosts deserved the three points. After an initial period where Fuoli had to intervene, Alcorcón quickly ceded the initiative. A dangerous shot by Agustín Coscia grazed the post after fifteen minutes, and shortly after, Segura had to be substituted due to injury in the 21st minute.
In the second half, the siege continued. Priego forced the visiting goalkeeper, Ayesa, to make a diving save. A goal by García-Die was disallowed for a previous foul by Bonaldo. The pressure was constant, with Ayesa denying another header from García-Die with “cat-like reflexes.”

AD Alcorcón erected an impregnable defensive wall, frustrating the 'Arlequinats' by preventing the conversion of actions into goals.

Despite claims for a possible penalty on Godoy, which was not deemed punishable after the FVS review, and constant pressure until stoppage time, the ball refused to go in. Despite the draw at the Nova Creu Alta, CE Sabadell maintains the top position in the league table.
