Several residents and drivers in Sabadell have reported the dangerous condition of the Plaça del Mil·lenari, citing potholes and poor signage, prompting the City Council to urge the Generalitat to take action.

The Plaça del Mil·lenari in Sabadell has become a difficult and dangerous area for circulation, according to complaints gathered by the Diari de Sabadell. Regular users warn of the growing danger of the space for both drivers and, especially, for motorcyclists, who must cope with a severely deteriorated road surface.
Drivers complain about the lack of clear road markings, which generates constant confusion and moments of tension. Maria, a daily driver, states that “the lack of clear road markings generates constant confusion. There are moments of high tension because you don't know which lane is yours or where you have to go”.

"The potholes and cracks are a real danger. A small bump can cause a fall, especially when it rains or at night, when they are harder to see."

In response to the complaints, residents demand urgent action to improve the pavement condition and road signage. Municipal sources explained that the ownership of the square and its main links corresponds to the Generalitat de Catalunya, which has already been notified to review the state of the road and carry out the necessary actions.
Regarding the branches that are municipal competence, the Sabadell consistory has assured that, once the rains cease, a review will be carried out to assess possible repairs to the pavement and the repainting of horizontal signage, aiming for safer and more orderly circulation.
