The young athlete from Manresa achieved a best attempt of 1.74 meters on her third try, a mark that, combined with clean passes at previous heights, secured her a podium finish. Subsequently, Bonet had two fouls at 1.76 meters and one at 1.78 meters.
The competition was won by Laura Alegre, of Playas de Castelló, with 1.78 meters. Silver went to Fatoumata Diallo, of JA Sabadell, with 1.76 meters. Also participating was Anna Eberle, of CA Igualada Petromiralles, who finished eighth with 1.64 meters.
This bronze medal raises the total number of podium finishes achieved by athletes from the central region to five in the Spanish U-23 Championships.
This success adds to the results obtained on Saturday, including the gold won by Martí Serra (Avinent) in the pole vault and the silver by Ericka Badeau Masseras (Avinent) in the 60 meters. Furthermore, CA Igualada added two bronzes with Judit Navarro in the 3,000 meters and Toni González in the high jump.
On the final day, other notable results included the sixth place finish by Carla Bisbal (Igualada) in the 1,500 meters (4:38.14) and the sixth place by Biel Cirujeda (Avinent) in the 400 meters B final (47.91). Pau Subirats (CAI) was unable to start in the 60 meters semifinals.
