Pol Ferrer and Ivet Rovira claim third Catalan Combined Events title

Athletes Pol Ferrer and Ivet Rovira secured their third Catalan title in combined indoor track events this past weekend during the championship held in Sabadell.

Pol Ferrer, representing Cornellà Atlètic, and Ivet Rovira, from L’Hospitalet Atletisme, confirmed their dominance in combined indoor events in Sabadell, earning their third regional championship title.
Ferrer completed the seven events of the heptathlon with a total score of 5,744 points. His notable partial results included 6.96 in the 60m dash, 7.41m in the long jump, and 4.60m in the pole vault, showcasing great consistency across disciplines.

This third consecutive Catalan title solidifies Pol Ferrer and Ivet Rovira's position as the current benchmarks for combined events in indoor track athletics.

Meanwhile, the three-time champion Ivet Rovira, who hails from Girona, won the pentathlon with 3,789 points. Among her five events, she recorded 8.94 in the 60m hurdles, 1.58m in the high jump, and 5.69m in the long jump.
