Sabadell Hosts Fourth Edition of ITF Men's World Tennis Tour

The international tennis tournament solidifies its place in the local sports calendar, featuring emerging talents and free admission for the public.

High-level international tennis returns to Sabadell from May 3 to 10, with the fourth edition of the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour to be held at the courts of Cercle Sabadellès 1856.

The championship's presentation took place in an unparalleled setting, at the Open Banc Sabadell 73rd Conde de Godó Trophy, within the hospitality area. The event was attended by prominent figures from politics, business, and sports, highlighting the significance of this sporting event.
Among the authorities present were Abel Garcia, Secretary General of the Generalitat's Department of Sports; César Tovar, territorial representative for sports in Barcelona; Javier Soler, sports director of the RFET; Jordi Tamayo, president of the FCT; and Montserrat González, sports councilor for the Sabadell City Council. Also in attendance were former professional tennis player and tournament ambassador, Alberto Berasategui, and the club president, Josep Lluís Llusià.
This will be the fourth time that Cercle Sabadellès 1856 has organized this international competition, which continues to solidify its position as a key event in Sabadell's sports calendar. This year, Albert Nievas debuts as tournament director, taking over from Sergio Barranco. A high-level lineup is expected, with the participation of tennis players ranked in the top-200 of the ATP.
The competition will kick off on Sunday, May 3, with the qualifying phase, and admission will be free for all fans. The main draw will extend until Sunday, May 10, the day of the grand final. The 2025 edition was won by Dani Mérida, one of the emerging talents of Spanish tennis, who recently reached the final in Bucharest, demonstrating the potential of the participants in this tournament.
