The Sabadell City Council has announced an investment of almost one million euros to modernize its public lighting system, aiming for 95% of the city's streetlights to utilize LED technology.

This initiative, which represents a commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability, will be implemented in several important thoroughfares of the city. Among the streets and avenues where these works will take place are Prat de la Riba street, Avinguda de la Pau, and Ronda d'Europa.
The transition to LED lighting not only seeks a reduction in electricity consumption and carbon emissions but also an improvement in the quality of urban illumination, enhancing safety and comfort for citizens in these areas.
