The Sabadell City Council and the Guild of Manufacturers have launched the literary cycle preceding Sant Jordi, featuring 37 author presentations from January 28 until April 13.

This is the third edition of the literary cycle co-organized by the City Council and the Guild of Manufacturers in Sabadell, aiming to intensify the celebration of Sant Jordi with two and a half months of cultural activity. The program includes 37 authors, alternating major names in Catalan literature with local voices.

"It is an absolute compilation of talent."

The cycle will kick off on Wednesday, January 28, with the conversation 'Having Miquel Crusafont as a father,' featuring his children, Anna and Miquel Crusafont, the latter a numismatics specialist and recipient of the Creu de Sant Jordi. The program also includes seven collective presentations featuring 24 local authors.
Among the most prominent names appearing at the Guild of Manufacturers are Màrius Serra, presenting El mal entès on March 2; Sílvia Soler with Érem tan joves on March 12; and Francesc Torralba, with the Josep Pla Award winner Anatomia de l’esperança on March 26. Water polo player Paula Leitón and journalist Ariadna Oltra will also participate.
The closing event will be held on April 13 with the presentation of La segona vida de Ginebra Vern, the Ramon Llull Award-winning work by journalist Agnès Marqués. The President of the Guild of Manufacturers, Esteve Gené, highlighted the Guild's commitment to opening its facilities, including three open house days.
