The Sant Cugat City Council announced that the 39th Half Marathon celebration will cause significant traffic restrictions and street closures in the city center on Sunday, February 1.

The first mobility disruptions in Sant Cugat del Vallès will begin at 6:15 AM. At this time, the Avinguda del Pla del Vinyet will be closed, specifically the section between Avinguda de Gràcia and Plaça de Gabriel Ferrater, to allow for the setup of the race starting area.
The start of the Half Marathon, which covers a distance of 21 kilometers, is scheduled for 8:30 AM. From this moment, traffic cuts will extend to various streets in the urban core and other parts of the municipality along the circuit, which includes two laps in certain sections.
According to municipal forecasts, traffic is expected to be fully restored around 12:30 PM. Residents are advised to avoid traveling by private vehicle through the affected areas throughout the morning and to use alternative routes.
