The autumn vaccination campaign against flu and COVID-19 has started in Sant Llorenç Savall, with the aim of protecting the most vulnerable groups against seasonal illnesses.

With the arrival of colder weather, a new joint vaccination campaign against flu and COVID-19 has been launched. The initiative seeks to protect the most vulnerable groups and reduce contagion in their environment, especially among those who live with or work with at-risk individuals.
Under the slogan “Vaccinating is loving,” the campaign calls for awareness and shared responsibility. It is considered a key opportunity for citizens to protect themselves against these common autumn and winter viruses, thereby ensuring their own health and that of those around them.
Although vaccination is beneficial for everyone, it is recommended to prioritize booking appointments for the following groups: individuals aged 60 and over, groups with at-risk health conditions, healthcare and social care personnel, and those who live with or care for the elderly.
The vaccination schedule indicates that from October 5th, vaccinations will be administered to residents in care homes, individuals over 80, pregnant women, children aged 6 months to 4 years, and healthcare and social care personnel. From October 26th, vaccination with appointments will be available to the rest of the groups, including the population over 60, at-risk groups, and essential service professionals.
From November 16th, vaccinations will be available without prior appointment at primary care centers for these groups. It is reminded that appointments can be booked through the usual channels of the health center.
