Architect Simon Abellan, the competition winner, has presented the winning proposal for the new local clinic in Sant Llorenç Savall. The idea was unveiled last week at a meeting in Sant Llorenç Savall with the Barcelona Metropolitan North Health Region, the City Council, Infraestructures.Cat, and the territorial management of the Catalan Health Institute (ICS), the entity providing the service.
This step is necessary for all involved parties to understand the winning proposal and provide feedback before the final project is drafted, with approval scheduled for November 2027.
The new clinic, situated very near the existing one, aims to improve comfort for both citizens and professionals with larger spaces adapted to current healthcare standards.
Sant Llorenç Savall is part of the Basic Health Area (ABS) of Castellar del Vallès, which includes the Castellar del Vallès health center and the Sant Llorenç Savall local clinic, housed since 1988 in a ceded municipal space.
