Some of the activities have a cost of 6.30 euros per month, one of the new features this season. Registrations can be made directly at the Municipal Civic Centers Network or through the link provided by the Public Health Department.
Public Health technician, Montse Prior, explained that participants can try an activity before formalizing their registration. She also noted that those in need can request a subsidy through the Social Services Department to cover the fee.
The program is designed for adults, with no age limitations. It includes activities such as NaturalMENT at the Horts de la Plana del Molí (community and ecological horticulture), AcompanyaMENT Emocional in civic centers, and EsportivaMENT with physical activity sessions in Pere Bufí park and Plaça de les Tretze Roses. Also offered are 5,000 steps + stretching at the Mas Costa and Can Taiò civic centers.
The plastic expression workshops, called ExpressaMENT, take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Can Taiò Civic Center. Montse Prior reported that despite a change in the reference person, emotional well-being will continue to be addressed through these techniques. The ExpressaMENT 2 activity offers free cultural outings on the last Tuesday of the month for those registered in other proposals.
EsportivaMENT continues with adapted offerings, including alternative indoor spaces for bad weather days and specific sessions for people with reduced mobility, conducted while seated. The NaturalMENT activity, a community organic garden, requires a two-season commitment and this year will have two groups, one starting anew.
