The municipal company Mogoda Serveis SAM has introduced a new crane truck equipped with a compaction system specifically for the collection of paper and cardboard. This new vehicle began operations this month of October.
The primary advantage of the new equipment lies in its compaction system, which reduces the volume of collected material. This allows for better utilization of the vehicle's load capacity, increasing the amount of paper and cardboard that can be collected per service.
According to the SAM's manager, Rafael Bellido, this optimization of routes and load capacity will significantly enhance the overall operation of this collection service, which has seen substantial growth in recent years.
