The Department of Culture of Santa Perpètua de Mogoda has opened the registration period for a new creative workshop called 'Revolutionary Tote Bags'. The activity will take place on October 17, starting at 11 AM, at La Sala d’Exposicions.
This workshop, conceived as a creative, reflective, and intergenerational space, is designed for children aged five and up, who will participate accompanied by a family member. Interested individuals can now register through the provided form.
According to the Department of Culture, the session will use the tote bag as a medium for expression and advocacy. Techniques such as painting, embroidery, and printing will be the main tools for designing these bags.
This initiative is closely linked to the exhibition Weaving Revolutions, by artist Iris Garcia Serra. The exhibition collects the collective memory of local women who experienced both the industrial revolution and the feminist revolution.
