The Santa Perpètua de Mogoda City Council has decided to postpone motions and the question and answer session scheduled for Thursday, October 29th, limiting the meeting to basic agenda items due to the severe train accident in Urda, Toledo, which resulted in 69 deaths.

The plenary session, originally scheduled for today, will not include the debate on two motions presented by the PSC: one defending the public pension system and another supporting the International Solidarity Convoy with Ukraine. The public question time, which included a citizen intervention, will also not take place.
In territorial matters, the reduced agenda plans to address the renaming of the passage of Ramón Piró to Carme Cosialls Pérez street, as well as the nomenclature of the passage of Montserrat Guinart Capellanes. The consolidated text of the partial modification of the Municipal General Urban Planning Plan to regulate the change of use of premises to housing will also be verified and approved.
The session can be followed live on Ràdio Santa Perpètua. The City Council has joined the three days of official mourning decreed for the accident. Council flags are flying at half-mast, and on Wednesday the 28th, a concentration was held in the Plaça de la Vila in solidarity with the victims and their families.
