The Santa Perpètua de Mogoda City Council has announced that activities at the Civic Centers Network and the Senior Citizens Department will commence on November 2nd. This start was delayed compared to the program initially planned for October.
To compensate for the inconvenience caused by this delay, the Council will not charge the fee for October and will apply a 75% discount on the November fee. The Councilor for Culture, Tamar Zamora, thanked registered participants for their patience and highlighted the council's commitment to resuming activities as soon as possible.
The postponement occurred due to the contractor for the monitoring service withdrawing just days before the planned start on October 8th. According to Zamora, the procurement process had been conducted correctly and within the scheduled deadlines.
The Civic Centers Network provides a space for meeting, learning, and community participation with activities for various ages and interests. The open social spaces have been running since October 1st, offering activities such as board games, crafts, and English conversation, among others.
