Santa Perpètua de Mogoda has been awarded an honorary distinction and has retained the three Flowers of Honor from the Viles Florides movement, recognizing the quality of its gardening and sustainable management of the urban landscape.

The municipality has also received the Nature, cultivation, and industry in balance distinction for its firm commitment to the environmental and social improvement of its 13 industrial estates, with significant economic investment fostering integration between the urban area and industrial activity.
The Head of Gardening for the Santa Perpètua City Council, Luisa Fernández, collected these awards on Friday, October 2nd, in Reus, during the 15th Viles Florides Flowers of Honor Gala 2026. Fernández expressed her "joy" at the recognition of the "innovative" landscaping of the industrial estates and the allocation of land for cultivation, preserving the area's farming tradition.
However, she expressed "disappointment" at not achieving the fourth Flower of Honor by "a few tenths," despite the four new initiatives presented by the municipality, including those for the industrial estates.

"We are delighted with this recognition from the jury, which has highlighted the "innovative" landscaping of the industrial estates."
