The Santa Perpètua de Mogoda City Council has decided that Monday, September 6, 2027, will be the holiday for the Summer Festival, thus reverting to the old calendar after citizen and entity consultations.

This decision, expected to be approved at the November municipal plenary session, follows the results of a citizen survey and feedback from local businesses, companies, and cultural and sports entities. Two years ago, the festival was moved from Monday to Friday, a change made at the time with limited participation.
The Councilor for Culture, Tamar Zamora, highlighted that the decision to return to a Monday holiday was made "unanimously" based on the survey responses, which included a specific question about the preferred holiday date. Zamora thanked citizens for their participation through the survey, social media, and individual comments.
The Festa Major and Deskoncerts commissions have also analyzed the survey, which positively rated the fireworks display, concerts at Central Park, and activities organized by local entities. Work is currently underway to secure a single headline act for Saturday night.
