Shopkeepers on Nou de Sant Pere street in Terrassa have issued an alert regarding the presence of an individual posing as a local business employee to solicit money from customers.

Concern has spread among business owners on Nou de Sant Pere street, in the center of Terrassa, due to the appearance of a person causing discomfort by impersonating others and asking customers for money.
In response, Marc, owner of Aubets Informàtica, has decided to leverage social media to disseminate the warning to all citizens of Terrassa, or at least to regular patrons of establishments in this area of the city.

"We are finding that there is a character on the street going around businesses asking customers for money. Now, he says he is an employee of this establishment; a few days ago, he claimed to be the husband of the owner of a nearby shop. Attention! He is a scammer!"

Marc emphasized the importance of ignoring this individual and not giving him money. Furthermore, he recommended calling the police if encountered. The incident has been reported to Mayor Jordi Ballart, Security Councillor Xavier Cardona, and the Mossos d'Esquadra.
This scam tactic is not new to the city. Last year, the Associació Alba also warned of a similar case where a man posed as a member of the entity to solicit money from businesses in the city center. The president, Maruja Rambla, reminded everyone at the time that the association does not solicit funds on the street or in establishments.
