The Republican motion seeks to prevent digital exclusion and the "race" for discounts, which sold out in less than 24 hours. The PP demands speeding up the removal of abandoned vehicles.

The municipal groups of ERC and the PP are presenting motions at the December plenary session in Terrassa addressing the management of commercial vouchers and the removal of abandoned vehicles.

The commercial campaign Terrassa Val Molt!, promoted by the City Council and the Chamber of Commerce, made 57,600 vouchers of 5 and 10 euros available on December 4. These vouchers, which allow shoppers to save half their value, sold out in less than 24 hours, leading to criticism regarding accessibility.

"When you have more than 180,000 adults in the city and only about 20,000 can access the vouchers, something is not working. And when only 300 out of 2,500 businesses participate, the problem is not isolated, it is organizational."

Therefore, ERC proposes establishing a “universal pre-registration system and a transparent lottery” to ensure the discounts reach more citizens, preventing digital exclusion with physical service points in the districts. They also request the active expansion of the number of participating businesses, especially in neighborhoods with less economic activity such as Can Palet or Les Fonts.
Separately, the Popular Party, through its spokesperson Marta Giménez, is bringing a proposal to the plenary session to expedite the removal of abandoned vehicles. The motion is based on new state regulations that define vehicles as waste and mandate their transfer to Authorized Treatment Centers (CAT).
The PP points out that the current municipal ordinance dates back to 1991 and that the slow detection and processing mean many vehicles remain on the street for weeks or months, causing nuisance and risks. They request updating the protocol, increasing inspectors, improving coordination, and launching an information campaign.
