Jaume Leiva and Cristina Silva Win 26th Terrassa Half Marathon

Runners Jaume Leiva and Cristina Silva won the 26th Terrassa Half Marathon this Sunday morning, leading a race that took place through the city's main streets and avenues.

The athletes, who were presented as the clear favorites for the day, confirmed their dominance in the 21-kilometer race. Leiva crossed the finish line with a time of 1:07:43, while Silva finished with 1:15:17, showing significant superiority over their rivals.
In the men's category, Genís Fernàndez secured second place with 1:07:49, followed by Victor Centeno, who completed the podium with 1:11:56. For the women, Alba Bellostas Carreras was second with 1:20:20, and María Ruiz Peyró finished third with 1:20:25.
Simultaneously, the 5-kilometer Santi Centelles Race was held. In this shorter distance, Ivan Moreno Remolar was the male winner with 0:16:40, and Anna Plana Gifra won the female category with a time of 0:18:47.
The event registered a record turnout, with a total of 4,154 runners registered across both distances (the Half Marathon and the Santi Centelles Race). This figure surpasses the organizers' goal of 4,000 participants and is also higher than the previous edition's 3,500 runners.
