Jaume Leiva and Cristina Silva win the 26th Terrassa International Half Marathon

The 26th edition of the Terrassa International Half Marathon, held on Sunday, February 1, saw a successful turnout of 4,154 athletes, with Jaume Leiva and Cristina Silva claiming the overall victories.

Local long-distance runner Jaume Leiva, aged 42, secured the victory at the Parc dels Catalans finish line with a time of 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 43 seconds, marking his third win in this race. Second place went to Genís Ferràndez (1.07'49"), and Víctor Centeno completed the men's podium (1.11'56").
In the women's category, predictions were met as Cristina Silva from Barcelona claimed the victory, crossing the finish line with a time of 1 hour, 15 minutes, and 17 seconds. Alba Bellostas finished second (1.20'20"), closely followed by María Ruiz, who took third place with 1.20'25".

A total of 4,154 athletes registered for the two modalities of the Terrassa Half Marathon, with 2,883 participants in the 21-kilometer race alone.

Regarding the popular 5-kilometer Santi Centelles race, the men's triumph went to Ivan Moreno (16'40"), followed by Pedro Ruiz and Omar Mekharchef. Anna Plana dominated the women's event with a time of 18'47", with Eliosabet Colomer and Desirée Díaz completing the podium.
