The meeting, chaired by Mayor Jordi Ballart and the Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, is not just an institutional visit, but a technical and political working session. The broad delegation includes key secretaries in Housing, Health, and Sports, reflecting the historical demands the city government will put forward.
One of the most critical points is health, with the presence of General Secretary Narcís Pérez. Terrassa demands a firm schedule for the construction of the CAP Nord in the Parc de la República and the expansion of the CAP Sud, in addition to unblocking the new CUAP. The municipality has already completed its urban planning duties, including the transfer of the plot in Plaça dels Països Catalans.
Terrassa demands the investment counterpart from the Generalitat after having completed the urban planning duties for the modernization of the Hospital and the new primary care centers (CAPs).
The agenda also addresses the infrastructure deficit, including the request for the free use of the Les Fonts toll and monitoring the Ronda Nord, with works scheduled for 2028. Regarding housing, greater coordination in HPO promotions is requested with Secretary Lídia Guillén.
Finally, the General Secretary for Sport, Abel García, will address the municipal request for the Generalitat to assume urgent repairs to the sports facilities in Can Palet-Can Jofresa, Pla del Bonaire, and Vilardell, prior to the transfer of ownership to the municipality.
