Nalu Psicologia has opened NaluTCA in Terrassa, a unit specialized in addressing eating disorders. The project is aimed at adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing difficulties related to eating, body image, trauma, personality, or emotional regulation. The new unit is established as an intermediate clinical resource between outpatient care and inpatient facilities, offering specialized intensive programs that provide greater support, more frequent therapeutic sessions, and coordinated work with the individual, their family, and, when necessary, other involved professionals.
NaluTCA's approach is relational and integrative. Therapeutic work focuses not only on the eating symptom but also on its function within the individual's emotional and relational life. To this end, the team incorporates interventions such as individual psychotherapy, therapeutic groups, family work, nutritional therapy, psychoeducation, emotional regulation, and trauma treatment.
One of the project's primary goals is to offer specialized, humane, and coordinated care. In eating disorders, recovery often requires a broad perspective that integrates the body, diet, emotions, relationships, and the individual's family or social context.
NaluTCA also aims to be a reference point for professionals and referring centers. The unit coordinates with psychologists, psychiatrists, nutritionists, doctors, schools, and other healthcare services to ensure coherent and appropriate intervention for each clinical situation.
The center is located in Terrassa and operates by appointment. Individuals, families, or professionals seeking consultation or information can do so via the website www.nalutca.com
