The new gastronomic space, named Clots, will open to the public this Christmas and is located slopeside at the 2,100-meter level. The renovation includes a completely refurbished terrace, improvements to the pavement, and renewed access points, aiming to offer an agile dining experience during weekends and holidays.
“"Boosting snow activities in the Pyrenees allows us to work for territorial balance and economic revitalization, in this case in the Pallars region."
The presentation event, held on International Mountain Day, was attended by the president of FGC, Carles Ruiz, accompanied by the president of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, Josep Queró, and the manager of Port Ainé, Xavier Bigordà.
Furthermore, a mural was inaugurated at the Port Ainé compressor house. This artwork, created with the association La Rural Utòpica, aims to disseminate the natural values of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, especially the black pine forests and subalpine pastures.
In addition to the restaurant and the mural, Port Ainé has implemented technical improvements, such as renewing snow cannon heads for more efficient and sustainable snow production, and updating rental equipment for skiing and snowboarding. The resort is also expanding its program with local product tastings, musical performances, Carnival activities, and a new edition of the Christmas Festival.
