Terrassa FC secures 1-1 draw against Espanyol 'B' after hard-fought match

Terrassa FC earned a valuable away point against Espanyol "B", drawing 1-1 after successfully overcoming a goal conceded just one minute into the highly contested match.

The match started poorly for Oriol Alsina's side, as the home team's reserve squad took the lead in the 1st minute. Ferran assisted from the right flank to Lluc Castell, who beat goalkeeper Marcos Pérez. This early goal unsettled Terrassa FC for several minutes, allowing the hosts another clear chance when Almansa's shot went wide.
As the minutes passed, the Egarenc side regained control and started creating chances. Following a corner kick taken by Sergio Cortés, an Espanyol "B" defender almost scored an own goal, hitting the crossbar. Immediately after, Sergio Cortés capitalized on a loose ball to beat goalkeeper Llorenç and level the score at one before halftime.
The second half was much more balanced, with both teams displaying defensive caution. Although Espanyol "B" dominated possession initially, Terrassa FC improved their play, particularly in defense, conceding few spaces. Sergio Cortés and Isma attempted long-range shots, but the score remained unchanged, securing the final draw.
Terrassa FC's next fixture will be next Sunday at 18:00, when they host Atlètic Lleida at the Estadi Olímpic. The starting lineup against Espanyol "B" included Marcos Pérez, Isma, Beamonte, Álvaro Martín, Mario Domingo, Josemi (replaced by Schouten, m. 81), Sergio Cortés, Guti (replaced by Larry, m. 46), Gil Muntadas (replaced by Larrauri, m. 81), Nahuel Arroyo, and Van den Heerik.
