The Casal de la Dona de Terrassa has unveiled its calendar of events to celebrate its 40th anniversary, featuring initiatives that review its history and address future social challenges.

Spokespersons Encarna Molina Moya, Teresa Rodríguez, Mercè Gómez Llobregat, and Carmina Rodellar Blecua highlighted the vitality of the organization, emphasizing that all activities planned throughout the year will be framed within the three foundational pillars that have guided the association.

"We refer to activism to claim free and conscious motherhood, in the fight for the right to abortion, to have pleasurable sexuality, and to the care of reproductive health."

These pillars are the Right to one's own body, which includes the fight for sexual planning and support for women suffering from gender violence; the Visibility of Feminism, being an emblem of activism since the first 8M demonstration in 1978; and Coeducation, considered the fundamental tool for social change.
As a result of community work, the logo and poster for these 40 years were chosen from hundreds of entries submitted by 12 public educational centers. Key activities include the Exhibition History of Feminism in Terrassa (from March 2 to April 3), the performance of the play Sala d’espera at the Teatre Alegria on March 22, and the presentation of the Casal de la Dona Book at the Municipal Historical Archive on March 26.
