Terrassa FC and CE Sabadell meet again in the Copa Catalunya quarter-finals this Wednesday at the Estadi Olímpic de Terrassa, in a derby where both teams arrive in excellent form.

After a fourteen-year wait, the Vallès derby is repeated just months after the last clash, which ended in a 2-0 victory for Terrassa. Although CE Sabadell competes in Primera Federación and Terrassa FC in Segunda Federación, both teams approach the match this Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Estadi Olímpic in their best moment of the season.

"We will go for the match from minute 1 and we will play face to face with a great rival. We know it is a special match and we want to win it."

Oriol Alsina · Terrassa FC Coach
The coach of Terrassa FC, Oriol Alsina, confirmed that he will make rotations, but stressed the seriousness with which they face the tie. He also highlighted that the fans will be “key” and believes that “people are happy with the team and increasingly excited.”
One of the great attractions of the match is the reunion of Sergio Cortés, the midfielder for the Terrassa side, with his former team. Cortés was captain of CE Sabadell and was key in their promotion to Primera Federación, but he signed for Terrassa FC this winter transfer window, making this derby a special game for him.
Regarding precedents, the two teams have faced each other seven times in the Copa Catalunya, with three victories for Sabadell, two for Terrassa, and two draws. The last league derby at the Estadi Olímpic was a Terrassa victory (2-0), but CE Sabadell won the last Copa Catalunya duel last season.
