The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya recently hosted a new edition of Esperit de Montjuïc, attracting nearly 20,000 people to celebrate classic motoring with a display of historic competition vehicles.

The event, organized by the Le Mans Classic Series by Peter Auto, offered three intense days dedicated to classics, recreating the golden age of racing on Montjuïc mountain. Attendees enjoyed a unique exhibition of vehicles that marked the history of motorsport.
The Vallès track was packed to pay tribute to the past of motoring. Among the most notable competitions were the Gentlemen Challenge, featuring endurance vehicles from the 50s and early 60s, and the C Racing, which showcased cars from the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1982 and 1993.
Fans were able to admire iconic models such as a Jaguar XJR12 from 1990, a Porsche 962 C also from 1990, a Lister Knobbly Chevrolet from 1958, and a Porsche 904/6 Carrera GTS from 1964, among other automotive gems.
Beyond the track action, Esperit de Montjuïc maintained its essence as a gathering that transcends the world of motoring, offering fun, entertainment, and an atmosphere that evokes the magic of past major automotive events. The paddock was a meeting point with classic car concentrations, a commercial village, live music, a varied gastronomic offer, and activities designed for children.
The Circuit is already preparing for the next major event, with the return of endurance racing on April 11 and 12. The European Le Mans Series will kick off its season with the 4 Hours of Barcelona, promising hours of excitement and spectacle with several championships at stake.
