The event, celebrating sporting successes proposed by entities, clubs, and the Night of Sport Commission, presented awards in three categories: proposals from local sports entities, proposals from the City Council Commission, and the Special Award, chosen by popular vote.
Among the awardees nominated by local entities are the senior women's basketball team of Club Natació Caldes for their league championship and promotion, the same club's boys' U13 futsal team, Jordi Martin Cano for his athletic career, Joan Sol Puig for an outstanding sporting record including 10 Ironman races, the men's national Catalan hockey team of Club Hoquei Caldes, Leire Salas Gallardo for cycling achievements, Maribel Mompean Giménez for consistency in archery, Sisko Morera for his long aikido career, the chess team C for their category promotion, Laia Creus Tortella for her progress in artistic skating, SUMICAL 2000 SL (represented by Miquel Villaraso) for their involvement with Club Atlètic Calderí, Joana Homedes for an exceptional gymnastics season, and Gonzalo Ruiz Díaz for his futsal career.
The Night of Sport Commission awarded prizes to Dídac Reyes Ariza as a promising male athlete in flag football, Valentín González-Galiño Ortuño for winning the US Open doubles in tennis, Maia Díaz Lamela as a promising female athlete in synchronized swimming, Sergio Fernández Vila for his career in roller hockey with FC Barcelona, Maria Pitarch Laguna for her international participation in archery (award collected by her coach Santos López Sanchez), the senior men's team of Penya Verdaguer for their return and league championship, the women's national Catalan team of Club Hoquei Caldes for reaching the promotion play-off, and the women's amateur team of Club Futbol Caldes for their solidity and ambition.
Special mentions were given to the Club de tir amb Arc de Caldes de Montbui for its 30th anniversary, the Penya Blaugrana de Caldes de Montbui for 50 years, the Club Natació Caldes for 70 years, and the Esport Ciclista Calderí for 100 years.
The Special Posthumous Award went to Lluís Álvarez Navalón, recognized for his life dedicated to education, sport, and Caldes de Montbui. The citizens, through popular vote on the DECIDIM platform, chose him with 33.33% of the votes. The award was collected by his sister, Àngels Álvarez Navalón, and ex-partner Bet Serrano Muntal, from the hands of the mayor Isidre Pineda Moncusí and councilor Mertixell Fabregat Coll, in one of the most emotional moments of the night.
