The Canovelles City Council has installed seven large-capacity containers to facilitate the removal of furniture and bulky waste damaged by recent rains.

The objective of this measure is to prevent the accumulation of unusable materials on public roads, improve street cleanliness, and expedite their management. The containers, each 5 m³, will be temporarily available for individuals affected by floods or water leaks.
The installation points are: Avinguda de Canovelles (near Carrer de la Verge del Pilar), the intersection of Carrer de Barcelona and Carrer de Can Palots, Carrer de la Indústria and Carrer de la Verge del Pilar (next to Parc de la Pau), Carrer de la Riera (next to Parc de Can Xarlet), Carrer de la Riera (between Carrer de la Sèquia and Carrer del Montseny), the intersection of Carrer del Nord and Carrer de la Indústria (Plaça de Núria Miralles i Creus), and the intersection of Carrer de Parets and Passeig de la Ribera.
These containers will remain on the street until Tuesday, October 13, with their removal scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, October 14.
The City Council calls for citizen collaboration to utilize this exceptional service and maintain a clean public space, thereby facilitating recovery efforts in the municipality.
