The ForadCamp, Nature Film Festival, is celebrating its XV edition on October 24th and 25th in Figaró-Montmany. The event, held at the Sala del Nou Casino, showcases cinematic perspectives where nature takes center stage. Throughout the weekend, four feature films will be screened, including local productions such as Estrany riu by Jaume Claret Muxart and Historias del buen valle by José Luis Guerín, alongside Hijra by Shahad Ameen and the family-friendly Robot salvatge by Chris Sanders.
Saturday, October 24th, features the screening of Estrany riu at 4:00 PM, following two siblings on a bicycle journey along the Danube, and at 6:15 PM, Hijra, which accompanies a grandmother and her granddaughters on a desert journey.
On Sunday, October 25th, ForadCamp Kids presents Robot salvatge at 4:00 PM, an animated film recommended for ages 7 and up. Following this, at 5:45 PM, Historias del buen valle will be shown, a portrait of the Vallbona neighborhood.
Sunday also includes the guided walk «The Landscape, a Frame from the Film ‘Nature’», from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, exploring the Congost valley and the Montseny massif. The activity will be led by Aprèn Serveis Ambientals.
To mark the 15th anniversary, the Associació de Veïnes Guillemona Artiguella, in collaboration with the Town Council and the Associació de Documentalistes Independents INDOC, is organizing a popular hot chocolate event on Sunday at 5:30 PM in Plaça Anna Bosch.
All activities are free but require prior reservation at foradcamp.com/reserva-dentrades-2026/. Screenings will take place at the Nou Casino (carretera de Ribes, 37), and the walk will start at the Punt d’Informació del Molí de Ca l’Antic. Attendance enters participants into a draw for a stay at Can Plans.
