The Tourdera cycling route project held its annual monitoring commission meeting on January 30 in Fogars de Montclús, bringing together 18 town councils to evaluate 2025 actions and define 2026 challenges.

The monitoring commissions function as essential coordination spaces, where participating town councils, the Consell Comarcal de la Selva, and the Parc Natural del Montseny exchange vital information. This collaboration is key to deciding joint actions necessary for the effective maintenance and promotion of the route.
During the session, project technician Marc Corominas detailed the actions executed last year, including securing new funding. This new economic support comes from the cross-border project Hydroscopia–REGEN, which strengthens the initiative's investment capacity.
Municipal representatives reviewed the current state of the route and took the opportunity to present specific local proposals and needs. The Tourdera Technical Office begins 2026 with the firm objective of consolidating the route as a tool for sustainable tourism and effective inter-municipal cooperation.
