From midnight, the rains will move from southeast to northeast, affecting the south, center, and northeast of the country. The episode is expected to surpass the threshold of 40 mm in 30 minutes, and rainfall intensity over 3-hour periods could exceed 90 mm.
The showers, which will be self-reinforcing in the affected area with little displacement, could locally accumulate around 150 mm between midnight and midday tomorrow. Additionally, strong wind gusts are expected.
The intense rainfall episode is expected to last until Wednesday morning.
