The Ministry of the Interior has established a line of aid to mitigate material damages caused by recent storms, with subsidies varying according to severity and family resources.

Individuals and homeowner associations who have suffered significant damage due to the recent rainstorm can apply for a subsidy to help cover expenses. These aids, managed by the Ministry of the Interior through the General Secretariat for Civil Protection and Emergencies, are subsidiary in nature, meaning they complement other public or private aid without covering 100% of the losses.
Beneficiaries can include family or cohabitation units with personal or material damages, as well as homeowner associations affected in common elements. The subsidy amount will be weighted according to the applicants' financial resources.
Reimbursable damages include total destruction of the dwelling (up to 15,120 euros), structural damage (up to 10,320 euros), less severe non-structural damage (up to 5,160 euros), destruction of essential household goods such as furniture and appliances (up to 2,580 euros), and damage to common elements of the neighborhood that impede ordinary domestic activities (up to 8,000 euros), provided the association has an active insurance policy at the time of the incident.
Regarding income, family or cohabitation units must not exceed 29,400 euros annually for up to two members, 37,800 euros for up to four members, and 46,200 euros for more than four members, calculated based on the Public Indicator of Multiple Effects Income (IPREM).
Natural or legal persons who have been required to provide personal or goods contributions, as well as owners of commercial or industrial establishments with fewer than 50 employees who have suffered damage to their premises or goods, can also benefit from this aid line.
