The senior men's team, led by coach Toni Olivares, achieved the goal of permanence with two games still to play, a feat that had been virtually celebrated weeks prior. This milestone marks the club's fifth consecutive season in this division.
Despite a recent loss against the league leader, CB Prat (59-97), the season's balance is remarkable, with 11 victories and 13 defeats. This record matches the number of wins from the entire previous season and places CBG Contigoahorro in eighth position in the standings, with a four-win margin over the relegation spots.
“"Right now, relegation is at seven wins, and we already had eight by Christmas. We are very happy with how this season is going. We wanted a season without suffering for salvation, and we can now say we have achieved it, also giving opportunities to homegrown players. I believe we have made a statement in the standings and shown that Granollers belongs in Tercera FEB."
The final stretch of the regular season is now a formality for the team, which will aim to finish the league in the highest possible position. Upcoming fixtures include a match against Andratx on April 11 and the season closer at BC Tecla Sala's court on April 18.
