CF Caldes and CE Llerona Win Vallès Oriental Historic Tournament

CF Caldes de Montbui and CE Llerona were crowned champions of the Vallès Oriental Historic Tournament in their respective men's and women's categories.

The finals of the tournament, which this year celebrated its 15th edition in the men's category and the 5th in the women's, took place on Sunday at the Municipal Football Stadium of Caldes de Montbui. This edition featured the participation of 16 teams from the region.
In the women's category, CE Llerona defeated CF La Roca Penya Blanc i Blava 0-4. In the men's category, CF Caldes de Montbui beat FC Cardedeu 3-2.
The tournament, held from August 28 to September 6, brings together football clubs from the region with 75 years or more of history. This edition saw 10 men's and 6 women's teams participate, with matches also played at the municipal stadiums of Martorelles and Granollers.
The tournament was organized by the Consell Comarcal del Vallès Oriental (Regional Council of Vallès Oriental), in conjunction with the city councils of Caldes de Montbui, Martorelles, and Granollers, with support from the Barcelona Provincial Council. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 5, and 17.
