Work to replace the roof of the indoor pool in Montornès del Vallès began this week with the demarcation of the area and the installation of protective fencing.
Starting September 28th, the current roof will be dismantled, necessitating the closure of the facility. The renovation addresses progressive deterioration and water leaks. The new roof will ensure proper waterproofing, vapor management, and structural beam reinforcement.
The project is expected to take four months and will be carried out by Serveis, Obres i Manteniment SLU at a cost of €452,466.03 plus VAT.
During the four months of construction, exceptional measures for members will be implemented, including a 15% fee reduction. The summer pools will open for members until October 16th, aquagym sessions will be relocated, and swimming lanes will be available.
Additionally, members have the option to request a temporary suspension of their membership until the service is restored.
