An initiative by Plataforma per la Llengua, in collaboration with local activists, will promote linguistic activism in Granollers and Canovelles with an open talk this Thursday.

The event, titled "Let's Activate Catalan from the Local Level!", will take place at the Antic Gra in Granollers at 7 PM. The main objective is to leverage the recent citizen mobilization in defense of the Catalan language, observed during the Correllengua Agermanat, to ensure continuity and strengthen linguistic activism in the area.
The meeting is part of the initiatives to promote linguistic activism in the territory and is conceived as an open space for reflection and exchange of ideas. It is aimed at all those interested in the defense and promotion of Catalan, combining an analysis of the current context of the language with a reflection on the role of activism as a tool for social transformation, with a special emphasis on local impact.
The session will feature the participation of the Activism Coordinator of Plataforma per la Llengua and the coordinator of the local group in Manresa. The former will offer a general overview of the state of the language and the challenges in its social use, while the latter will provide a practical perspective based on territorial experience. The goal is to offer concrete and useful references to facilitate the involvement of attendees and the activation of new volunteer groups in the region.
