The current president, spokesperson, and councilor for the municipal group Granollers Primàries, Joan Ricart, has been re-elected to lead the party's candidacy in the upcoming 2027 municipal elections. Ricart secured 93 votes, with 57 cast in person and 36 online, in the primaries held on Saturday.
This will be the second consecutive time that Ricart heads the Primàries list, following his participation in the 2023 elections, where the group obtained two seats in the Granollers City Council. Currently, he and Jordi Domènech hold these positions.
Participation in the primaries stood at 60.96%, with 139 out of 228 registered members casting their votes. Of these, 74 voted in person and 65 online. A total of 236 votes were cast, as each elector could vote for up to two candidates.
In addition to Ricart, four other candidates vied for the subsequent positions on the list. Carles Canet received 50 votes (30 in person, 20 online), followed by Arnau Bellavista with 39 votes (16 in person, 23 online). Mònica Ribell garnered 28 votes (18 in person, 10 online), and Jordi Domènech secured 25 (16 in person, 9 online). One blank vote was also registered.
All citizens of Granollers registered in the municipal group's census were eligible to participate in these primary elections.
