The institutional ceremony, held next to the September Eleventh Monolith, began with the traditional raising of the Catalan flag by the Local Police. The Coral La Lira choir performed 'El Cant de la Senyera', followed by other pieces such as 'El meu Montornès', 'L’Empordà', and the national anthem 'Els Segadors'.
Catalan dance was prominently featured with a performance by the Bruixes Montornès association, showcasing their 'bastoners' group with two choreographies. Anna Boné and Júlia Espias, accompanied by local musician Dani Garrido, danced the 'Ball de l’Homenatge', and the Esbart Dansaire Rosa dels Vents from Vilanova del Vallès also performed.
A floral offering at the monolith saw participation from 19 cultural, social, sports, and political entities from the town. Following this, the mayor, José A. Montero, read the institutional manifesto, co-signed by Montornès en Comú, the PSC, Fem Montornès, and ERC.
The event concluded with a public sardana dance, organized with the collaboration of volunteers from the Associació Cultural Palau Dalmanla and senior citizen centers, who taught the dance steps to attendees.
