The annual call for AMPAs and AFAS of the municipality's educational centers has an allocation of €22,000. Of this amount, €18,000 will be allocated to primary school entities, €2,000 to secondary school entities, and an additional €2,000 for the El Lledoner Public Nursery School and the Municipal School of Music, Dance, and Theater.
These grants are aimed at developing educational activities and projects that promote collaboration between centers, family-school relationships, educational innovation, cultural and functional diversity, coeducation, and sustainability. The objective is to promote equity, foster academic success, and ensure social cohesion.
Interested AMPAs and AFAS can submit their applications electronically through the Electronic Office on the municipal website until October 12, including the forms and documentation required by the bases of each call.
As a novelty for this 2026-27 academic year, the City Council has created a grant line for mobility expenses for students pursuing official post-compulsory studies outside Montornès. This new call has €9,000.
These grants, framed within municipal policies to support educational pathways, are aimed at individuals registered in the municipality and enrolled in official studies outside Montornès. The maximum grant amount will be €200, aiming to reduce the economic impact of travel.
The deadline to apply for these mobility grants is October 21. Applications can be submitted electronically or in person at the Citizen Attention Office with a prior appointment. The municipal Department of Education offers telephone or in-person support for submitting applications.
