Residents of Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana aged 65 and over can participate in various free activities and workshops during Senior Citizens' Week, taking place from September 28 to October 4. Additionally, they will benefit from special promotions at local shops and services.
The La Fàbrica Civic and Cultural Center will host several activities and workshops, which require prior registration. Participants over 65 can attend classes free of charge, subject to limited availability.
The Senior Citizens' Center (Casal de la Gent Gran) will also open its doors to new activities, including Catalan classes (Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM), Country dancing (Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM), Sardana dancing (Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM), and Drawing (Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM). The free Caminem! program will also run during this week.
On Wednesday, September 30, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at La Fàbrica, a Functional Recovery Workshop will be held, led by Enrique Balfagon, focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and daily autonomy. Prior registration is required.
On Thursday, October 1 at 4:00 PM, the association Dret a Morir Dignament (Right to Die with Dignity) will offer a talk titled "My will until the end. Let's talk about end-of-life healthcare rights, euthanasia" at the Senior Citizens' Center.
Finally, the association Ronçana Comerç Actiu (RCA) has organized special promotions that will be available at various associated shops and services from September 28 to October 11.
