The Tourism Service of the Vallès Oriental Regional Council will be present at the tenth edition of Sea Otter Europe, an international cycling and cycle tourism event taking place in Girona from September 18th to 20th. The participation will be under the umbrella of the Barcelona Provincial Council's Tourism stand, "Barcelona is much more".
The aim is to promote activities, businesses, and experiences related to cycling in the region, with a special focus on the Vallès Oriental Gravel Route. This circular route, designed for gravel cycling, consists of six stages and covers a total of 343 kilometers with an accumulated elevation gain of 1,213 meters. The proposal highlights the natural, cultural, and gastronomic heritage of Vallès Oriental.
Sea Otter Europe, celebrating its tenth edition, is the European version of the Sea Otter Classic in California and has established itself as a meeting point for industry professionals, tourist destinations, athletes, and enthusiasts.
During the festival, attendees can participate in talks, round tables, test bicycles, visit brand stands, and engage in sports activities.
This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), following Agenda 2030.
