Guoxin Lin, of Chinese origin and a recent resident of La Garriga, although he has lived in Catalonia for years, has decided to learn Catalan. He has noticed that a significant portion of his clientele speaks Catalan and wishes to improve his service by offering basic conversations in the language.
Now that he has started studying, Lin already sees customers more inclined to converse in Catalan and is pleased to be able to respond competently and offer his products directly in the language.
The Comerços Aprenents program offers brief and practical language training to newly arrived merchants. Sessions are held directly at the establishment with a teacher, focusing on everyday conversations with customers. This dynamic and practical approach often encourages participants to pursue further training in the regular courses offered by the CPNL.
