The mayor of Les Franqueses, Juan Antonio Corchado Ponce, and the Sports Councilor, Carlos Munzón Cruz, met this Wednesday with the concessionaire company of the Municipal Sports Complex (CEM) to request improvements in its management. This meeting is the second held by the parties to address necessary adjustments to the facilities.
During the first meeting, a shock plan was agreed upon, focusing on the machine area to repair or replace the current ones, ensuring optimal service until the new management process concludes. The CEM is a public facility managed externally by a specialized company.
The renewal of the concession is in an advanced stage, with new conditions drafted by the Town Hall. It is expected that the municipal plenary session in October will approve these improvements, which include the renovation of changing rooms, upgrades to common areas, expansion of the physical conditioning room and group activity rooms, as well as improvements to access control systems and the renewal of various services.
Following the renovation of the outdoor pool, the current objective is to ensure the indoor facilities are maintained in good condition. The new contract foresees progressive improvements to meet the needs of members and users.
