The Department of Elderly Affairs has launched the Itinerant Exhibition Space at the Casal de la Gent Gran del Centre, a cultural project designed to turn the venue into a showcase for the municipality's artistic talent. Exhibitions are regularly updated, offering a variety of disciplines, styles, and perspectives.
The project began last April with a drawing and portrait exhibition by Orencio Zorrilla García, a resident of Lliçà d'Amunt. Subsequently, in June, a painting exhibition by M. Àngels Hereu, an artist who has left a significant mark on the municipality, was presented.
Currently, the walls of the Casal host a photographic exhibition by Valentí Grau Ubach, focused on the theme “Nature and Autumn”. Grau, a photography enthusiast for many years, captures his images with a reflex camera and has previously exhibited in various local venues such as l’Aliança, the Biblioteca Ca l’Oliveres, or the restaurant El Mirallet.
The Department of Elderly Affairs invites citizens to visit the exhibitions and discover the talent of the residents of Lliçà d'Amunt. The Itinerant Exhibition Space is open to new artistic proposals, and interested individuals or groups can contact the Casal's activity organizers for information.
