The Children's Council of Lliçà de Vall was officially constituted last Wednesday, October 21st, in the Town Hall's Plenary Hall, beginning its activities for the 2026-2027 academic year with 5th and 6th-grade students.

The municipal body, formed by 5th and 6th-grade students from Les Llisses and Els Vinyals schools, has commenced its work for the 2026-2027 academic year. The constitution session, held in the Town Hall's Plenary Hall, was presided over by the mayor, Xavier Castillejo, and the Councilor for Education, Eva Oms.
This year, the Children and Adolescents Council has been separated, creating an independent body for adolescents. The Children's Council will exclusively comprise 5th and 6th-grade students from the two aforementioned schools.
The new council has already received its first assignments from the Town Hall. These tasks include drafting the text for the municipal Christmas card, welcoming the Three Wise Men during the parade, and organizing sports days for 5th and 6th-grade students during the 2027 sports week.
